Account & Registration

Yes, creating an account is required. This allows you to:

  • Manage your addresses
  • Track your orders
  • View your order history
  • Enjoy a faster checkout experience

On the login screen, simply enter your mobile number which is registered on Yao App and generate OTP. If you are registered in Yao App then by entering OTP you can log in into the app.

Tip: Make sure to check your spam folder if you don't receive the reset link in your inbox.

Ordering & Prescriptions

Ordering prescription medicines is simple with our step-by-step process:

  1. Consult your doctor and get a valid prescription.
  2. In the app, find the prescribed medicine and add it to your cart.
  3. At checkout, you will be prompted to upload a clear, legible photo of your prescription.
  4. Our partner pharmacist will verify your prescription. Once approved, your order will be processed for delivery.

A valid prescription must meet the following criteria:

  • Issued by a registered medical practitioner in India
  • Recent and not expired
  • Clear and legible, with all details visible (doctor's signature, patient's name, medicine name, and dosage)
  • The original copy (not a photocopy of a photocopy)

No. A single prescription is valid for a single order, as per standard pharmacy guidelines. For future orders, you will need a new valid prescription from your doctor.

We sell a wide range of prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines. However, we strictly do not sell narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or any other medicines banned by the Government of India.

The sale of controlled substances is strictly prohibited on our platform.

Delivery

We deliver across India. During checkout, you can enter your PIN code to confirm serviceability and estimated delivery time.

Yes. We do charge delivery charges of ₹ 75/- if the total checkout value is ₹849/- or less.

Delivery times vary depending on your location and product availability. Typically, orders are delivered within 24-72 hours. You will receive real-time SMS/App notifications to track your order.

Yes, but the person receiving the order may be required to show a valid government ID for verification. For prescription medicines, they should have the original prescription copy ready.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the sensitive nature of our products (medicines, personal care, cosmetics), we generally have a "No Return, No Refund" policy once a product is delivered, in the interest of public health and safety.

Yes. We will facilitate a return and refund in the following specific scenarios:

  • You receive a damaged, expired, or tampered product
  • You receive the wrong product
  • Your order was canceled by us (e.g., due to stock unavailability or prescription verification failure)

Please contact our Customer Support team within 24 hours of delivery. Provide your order number and clear photos/videos of the issue (e.g., damaged product, wrong item). Our team will investigate and resolve it at the earliest.

You can cancel your order directly from the "My Orders" section in the app, provided it has not yet been shipped. For assistance, you can also contact our support team.
